#021 SPRINKLE POWDER OF TRISHTIKA AND GOATS' MILK ON LOVERS TO SEPARATE THEM

BOOK 7, CHAPTER 10, VERSE 113 A AND B

SAGEA sage of Bhrigu clan, presumably Paras`u Raama.

GODDESSTrisht`ika, (or Trishn`ika). A herb.

PURPOSE: Creating dissenssions between lovers.

PROCEDUREA herb called "Trisht`ika (also called Baan`aparn`i)" is powdered. The powder is mixed with red colored milk of goats. The mixture is sprinkled on the bed of the lovers who are to be separated, while chanting the verses.

GIST
"Oh thirst generating Trisht`ikaa! Oh creeper named Vandanaa! Separate this woman from the man. Oh Trisht`ikaa! Ignite and enrage hatrd in this man!"

GIST
"Oh Trisht`ikaa! Your nature itself is 'generation of thirst and burning sensations'. You are poisonous. You are condemned and untouchable. Like a sterile cow(barren cow) you are avoidable".

GLOSSARY
Vas`aa : Has several meanings. 1. woman 2. wife 3. daughter 4. husband's siter 5. barren woman 6. cow 7. barren cow 8. female elephant.

NOTE
The mantras have to be pronounced using special musical notes, some at a high pitch called "udaatta" and some at a low pitch called "unudaatta". These are to be learnt from a competent Guru.

REMARKS
Some anxious husband/wife having a libertine/adultrous might have approached Priests for help.
