The sanskrit word "mEDhRam" does not have the generic meaning 'genitals'; it only means the male genital and that too refers only to the 'linga' or phallus.

Secondly, the words dinou have not got reflected in the meaning given by you. Will you kindly give the word-for-word meaning?
